ThinkAnalytics unveils strong FY2016 results.

  • Solid company performance with turnover up 25% and profits up 45% year on year for FY ending 30 June
  • Significant wins across all territories, including Asia, North America and Europe
  • Further expansion in core customers with Sky Europe, Liberty Global, Swisscom, PCCW and Astro
  • ThinkBigData platform launched at CES 2016 now operational at a number of clients
  • Deployments now serve over 200 million subscribers in 38 languages across 40 countries
  • Positive outlook for 2016/17 with similar growth predicted from installed base and continued new customer wins

Highlights in Europe include the extension of the firm’s long-standing partnership with Sky UK to include all of Sky’s European businesses as they roll out the new Sky Q platform and NowTV. Further afield ThinkAnalytics has signed a number of new customers in Asia including Star India, Hotstar and Astro – together encompassing substantial subscriber growth.

ThinkAnalytics’ product development activity also showed no sign of slowing down during the year. The ThinkBigData platform, which was announced at CES 2016, is already operational in a number of clients and feedback is very positive. This takes the firm’s Search and Recommendations Engine technology into the field of actionable data, giving customers further tools to drive their business with increased viewership and loyalty.

ThinkAnalytics. 2016 has also been a good year for awards. ThinkAnalytics won two awards at the HSBC Exporter of the Year awards in March, including Exporter of the Year and Most Entrepreneurial Exporter of the Year. ThinkAnalytics will be showcasing its latest technologies at Hall 1, D92, IBC 2016.
