Samir Narsiker appointed country manager of ThinkAnalytics India to spearhead regional expansion

Promotion builds on strong local growth with customers including Tata Sky and Viacom 18

MUMBAI, 16th September 2019 ThinkAnalytics today announced that Samir Narsiker has been appointed country manager of ThinkAnalytics India. Samir’s promotion from vice president of business development follows a sustained period of strong regional growth that includes customer deployments at Tata Sky and Viacom 18 reaching many millions of subscribers.

In his new role, Samir will spearhead the firm’s expansion across the Indian subcontinent and will lead the day-to-day operations of ThinkAnalytics’ world-class development centre, located in Pune. India is one of the most dynamic and fast-growing TV and video markets in the world. The fast-growing development team uses agile methodologies and AI and machine learning techniques to deliver state-of-the-art solutions to customers across the globe. Set up in 2011, the Pune office works alongside R&D specialists and data scientists located at ThinkAnalytics’ UK headquarters.

Based in Mumbai, Samir will engage with TV operators looking to boost competitiveness and increase loyalty with personalized content discovery and deeper viewer analytics and insights, courtesy of ThinkInsight. ThinkInsight is the first real-time customer and video insight platform built to meet the specific needs of pay-TV and OTT players.
