The ThinkAnalytics Recommendations Engine beat the competition to win best Video Discovery Service at the Streaming Media European Readers’ Choice Awards. This was announced in London on 18th June at the Streaming Forum conference. Readers of Streaming Media Europe cast their votes – 12,000 in total – earlier this summer.
Hot on the heels of this award, VOD Professional named Peter Docherty, ThinkAnalytics founder and CTO, as one of the 50 most influential people working in the UK’s new television sector in 2013. The nominations for the top 50 were submitted by readers and judged by a panel of experts. Peter was recognised for his contribution to giving millions of TV viewers an easier way to expand their horizons by finding new programmes and movies.
