Steve Oetegenn joins ThinkAnalytics as Strategic Advisor

London and LA, January 21, 2021 – ThinkAnalytics today announced that former Verimatrix president, Steve Oetegenn, has joined the company as a non-executive director. With his exceptional industry expertise and strong network of contacts, Steve will help to nurture new business opportunities in the Americas and across the globe, and develop new industry partnerships to accelerate ThinkAnalytics’ growth.

Steve brings over 30 years’ experience at the intersection of software and media, having worked with global pay-TV and OTT providers, government agencies, global banks, Fortune 500 companies and Hollywood studios. From 2004 to 2020 he was President of Verimatrix, a provider of revenue security solutions to the pay-TV and OTT video industry. Under Steve’s stewardship, Verimatrix was acquired in 2019 for a total consideration of $145 million by Inside Secure.

Recognizing his success in delivering and inspiring innovation time and again, Steve was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2020 VideoTech Innovation Awards. Prior to Verimatrix, Steve was COO of MediaSec Technologies, a pioneer in the field of digital watermarking, and COO of Argus Systems Group, a provider of Internet server security software.
