September 18, 2025

LONDON and LA, 18 September 2025 – ThinkAnalytics, the global leader in video content discovery and personalization, today announced that Dish TV India, the leading content distribution company, has chosen ThinkMediaAI to provide personalized recommendations across its Watcho OTT platform. ThinkMediaAI will allow Dish TV to enhance the viewing experience and drive increased user engagement and subscriber loyalty. ThinkAnalytics’ comprehensive ThinkMediaAI product suite includes personalized content discovery, search, editorial curation, UX orchestration, A/B testing and business insights.

ThinkAnalytics will provide search and personalized content discovery across more than 24 OTT apps on Watcho’s OTT aggregation platform as well as live TV. Dish TV will take advantage of ThinkMediaAI’s massive scalability to meet the requirements of millions of paying subscribers as well as supporting 12 different languages.

ThinkMediaAI will strengthen Watcho’s evolution from a content aggregator to a comprehensive entertainment platform that offers curated and immersive experiences. And, as Watcho’s library is boosted with more international and regional titles, ThinkMediaAI’s industry-leading metadata enrichment ensures the highest quality recommendations and discovery, even when viewers are interested in niche local language dramas.

Using ThinkMediaAI’s real-time profiling and dynamic UI with rail positioning and trending content tailored to the user, Watcho viewers will have a personalized user experience on every device. At the same time, the editorial and curation team will have improved decision making based on new insights and intelligence about viewing behaviour trends and content investments. They will also be able to increase efficiencies with A/B testing and automation tools that optimize editorial workflows and accelerate time-to-market for new content and campaigns while minimizing dependency on engineering resources.

Mr. VK Gupta, CTO at Dish TV India, said, “The proven AI-powered capabilities of ThinkMediaAI give us the precision and scale to delight every subscriber, across 24+ OTT platforms, by surfacing content that truly resonates with their preferences. This collaboration ensures that our viewers enjoy a seamless, intuitive journey while our teams gain the agility to innovate faster, maximize audience engagement, and unlock new value in today’s dynamic OTT landscape.”

Peter Docherty, ThinkAnalytics CTO and co-founder, commented, “Dish TV’s Watcho OTT aggregation platform is a pioneer in super-aggregating streaming services.
